Clothing of the high priest

The high priest is online since today ...
and unfortunately has to be updated in a second version!
The priests were chosen from the tribe of Levi and the Levites took care of the tabernacle (Mishcan). The first high priest was Aaron and his sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Itamar, who were also appointed as priests (Exodus 28). For modelling I used different sources from the internet. One good source is "The Temple Institute". This is the origin of the golden bells. The bell has nothing to do with our idea of a bell, but was a sphere with a sounding body inside. For the Ephod I used an English language source. But just today I got the information brochure The 12 Tribes of Israel from the Christian media publisher inner cube. In the brochure it says that the tribe of Levi was not represented on the breastplate at all and therefore did not get a stone assigned. This contradicts my first source. It also says that the tribe of Levi is often associated with the colors of the tabernacle: gold, purple, blue and red. Therefore I will leave out the tribe of Levi as a stone in the next version. Also the shape of the gems was most likely oval instead of rectangular.

However, on the Internet you can find illustrations of both the angular and oval shape of the stones. Due to new archeological findings, one or the other 3D representation will surely have to be adapted. In the end, many graphic representations on the internet are based on interpretation only... Therefore I ask for your indulgence.
